Annoying, Damn Remakes

I am so annoyed off about all the remakes that Nintendo are making. Yellow, Crystal, Emerald, Platinum, all just the games released before with a few new features.

FR/LG, so stupid? I mean, sure, the islands are a good addition, but its practially better graphics, 2nd/3rd gen pokes and one new thing that they ment to do in the first game. Why didnt they just make Lightning Yellow?

HG/SS - it is exciting, with awesome features, like your pokemon following, and awesome graphics, and all 4 gen pokes, and everything, probably the best remake yet, but so fucking help me! Another remade game, and I can't believe it!

In my Opinion, It should only have been Yellow, Crystal, and Emerald Remade, they were the best out there gens, but Nintendo is hungry for money, they know people will buy these games, so they make them.

I hate it too. It's only because they are running out of ideas. and this is the only way they can make money out of the franchise. They're probably threatening Gamefreak right now because they can't make a new generation or something yet

Exactly. All it is is like one month of editing of an old game, for one of the 3rd game in a gen, and they get alot of money. People would buy a remade Blue with better graphics and 4th gen pokes and that is it. People buy anything just to play it because it is new.

They abuse their Fanboys D: just release newer looking things to have over 1000 people to go out and buy it because it's from nintendo.

If a completely unknown company made a generation5 , with fantastic graphics, awesome new pokemon , great storyline, etc, I bet it wouldn't sell at all.

(I know that they couldnt, because Pokemon is Nintendo's, but sat they did.)

You don't actually see the real reasons for the remakes..
The reason for the Remakes is to celebrate the 10 year anniversary since the original games were released.
Sure, you could call nintendo "Hungry for money", but isn't that what every company does already?
[Hell, we all know that Square Enix have been doing this for years, and have been leeching off FF7's fanbase by making a ton of Spinoffs]
Besides, people have been begging for these remakes for some time now, and I'm glad to see that Nintendo have Listened to their fans.
I hold no qualms in spending £70 on buying both versions of the G/S remakes.

I like the remakes. Its just I'd rather see something new...
